Silver and Blue Christmas

Im back again with another Christmas card.  This one did not photograph well, so you can't see how bright and shiney it really looks.   I made this card for the challenge over at Twisted Tuesday.  Today's challenge is a Photo Inspiration challenge.  Here is the inspiration:

The Twist:  Use an eyelet somewhere on your creation.

My inspiration was the colors.  I decided to use the Silver and Blue and make a Christmas card.  All the paper has been in my stash since last Christmas.  The base cardstock is a silvery white with a swirl design.  The next layer is shiny silver cardstock.  I used the Spellbinder Large Scallop Circle to cut out the center.  I then embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder.  I put blue eyelets on all the corners and on top of the cutout.  I stamped the ornament stamp from Stamping Up Tags til Christmas set on the base cardstock in Brilliant Blue.  I punched it out with the Ornament punch from Stamping Up.  I used blue ribbon from my stash to hang it in the opening.  I also tied the ribbon on the front of the card.

I will be entering this card in these challenges:

Fashionista Challenge - #9 - Blue Christmas

Fussy and Fancy Challenge - #76 - Feeling Blue

White on White Christmas!

It's a White on White Christmas challenge at Creative Craft Challenges.  We have a great sponsor for this challenge, Stamping Dragon Designs. Check out their store for all their gorgeous stamps nd papers.

I have used the Candy Cane stamp for my card.  It is colored with Copic markers R27 and R29.  I then sprayed it with Imagine Crafts Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz.  I fussy cut it out and popped it on the front of the card with pop dots.  The cardstock is Georgia Pacific.  The first layer is embossed with Cuttlebug Polka Dots folder.  The next layer is cut out with the Spellbinder Circle die cut and then embossed with Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The tag is punched out with a Stamping Up Tag punch and the sentiment is from MFT's Pure Innocence Christmas Caroler stamp set.  The ribbon is from my stash.

Snow Swirled

This is one of my favorite stamps to use at Christmas.  This is Stamping Up's Snow Swirled set. I thought it would be perfect to use for my DT card for the new challenge at Twisted Tuesday.  The challenge is to: Stamp Your Image and/or Sentiment on Patterned Paper.  The TWIST: Add the Color Teal or Turquoise Somewhere on Your Project.

I stamped the tree in Versa Mark on my patterned paper and then used a fine gold embossing powder to emboss it.  I cut it out with the Spellbinder Oval die cut and layered it on SU Island Indigo cardstock cut out with the Scallop Oval die cut.  I then used turquoise gems from my stash on it.  Here is close up of the tree.

The cardstock on the card is SU and the patterned paper is Bo-Bunny.  I also used SU Very Vanilla CS to emboss with SU Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.  The ribbon is also from SU.  I used Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia for my flower.  I used the Very Vanilla CS and sprayed the flower with Imagine Crafts Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz.  Then I used another Gem for the flower center.  The sentiment is also from the Snow Swirled set and stamped in Versa Mark, then heat embossed with the fine gold embossing powder.   It is punched out with SU Scallop Oval punch.  I then sponged SU Island Indigo ink around the edges.

I plan to enter this card in these challenges:
