Sympathy Card

Today I made a sympathy card.  I needed one in my stash since I was out.  I used mostly Stamping Up  supplies.  The white cardstock is Georgia Pacific.    All the other CS is SU.  The stamp is SU Fabulous Florets and is stamped in Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple.  The die cuts are Spellbinder Circle and Scallop Circle.  The punches I used are SU Scallop edge and Marvy Circle.  The pearls are from my stash.

Here is the inside of the card.  It is stamped with an Innie and Outie stamp from My Sentiments Exactly. I put both sentiments on the inside as there was not room on the outside.  It was stamped in SU Basic Black ink.

I am entering this card in these challenges:

Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Sympathy

The Pink Elephant Challenge - TPE163 - Sympathy/Thinking of You

Party Time Tuesday Challenge - PTT#83 - Anything Goes

Thanks for dropping by and have a blessed day.

Back To School

Today I'm using one of the cute back to school stamps by Bugaboo Stamps.  This is Crayon Girl.  I used the  Dots Coloring Technique on her dress and hair bow.  I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge.

The cardstock is Bazzill and the designer paper is by Karen Foster Design.  I have had it in my stash for a year or two.  So, it was time to pull it out and use it.  I took a strip of the yellow cardstock and run it through the crimper. I used the Spellbinder Deckled Rectangle and Large Label to frame the image.  I made the sentiment on my computer, cut it out and popped it up with pop dots.  I used yellow sticker dots on each corner.

Copics:
   Skin - E000, E00, E01, R20
   Hair - YR20, YR21, YR24, YR31
   Dress/Socks/Shoes - Y000, Y00, B21, B34, B97

Good afternoon lovely crafters.  It seems like it has been a lot more than a week since I last posted.  The grandkids came and we had a great time.  Of course hubby and I were the ones worn out.  But, I would do it all over again.  It is just great to spend some time with them.

I have some more news here too.  I was selected as a Design Team member for the Paper Crafting Journey Challenge blog.  I am so excited.  This is a whole new area for me.  Each new DT will be featured in the next few weeks.  So, be on the look out.  The new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey is Anything Goes  and it is being extended for six weeks.  So go and join in.

Today, I have a sweet little digi from Digi Doodles Shop.  This is Daisy Girl.  She looks like she is thinking about a whole bunch of things.  Maybe that school will be starting soon.  I also used a sketch from the Papertake Weekly Challenge.
