Dragonfly Flight

Sometimes the camera is not too kind. This picture of my card does not do it justice. The blue cardstock is really a bluegreen and blends really well with the designer paper, but does not in this picture. Anyway, this is what I have today.

This little image is by Elizabeth Bell for Belles and Whistles. And it is called Dragonfly Flight. She is so cute. She is colored in Copic Sketch markers (BG70, BG72, E00, E01, E31, E33, E53, YR000, YR00, YR01, YR02, YR04) and Copic Spica pens (Silver, Clear, Melon). I used Stickles Icicles on the dragonfly wings and Diamond on the little fairy's wings. The CS is Stampin Up and the DP is by My Mind's Eye - Stella Rose - Mabel. I used the dragonfly embossing folder from Craft Concepts. The flower is by Prima and the button is Basic Grey. The twine is Honeydew from The Twinery.

There's Magic in the Air!

Isn't this just the sweetest image? This adorable fairy is Wee Snippet by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. I think she is just the cutest. I colored her with Copic Sketch markers (BG05, E00, E01, E50, E51, E53, R02, R83, R85, YG03, YG06, YG11, YG13). I also used Copic Spica pens (Clear, Melon, Baby Blue) and her wings are covered with Stardust Stickles. The CS is Stampin Up and the DP is Watercolor Bouquet by K & Company. The mushroom cap is paper pieced with some of the DP. Here is a close up of the image.

The Cuttlebug embossing folder was used on the scalloped circle. I used Spellbinder Nestabilities Circle and Scalloped Circle. The butterfly is by Flora Doodles and the pearls are from my stash. This pretty flower is by Prima. I thought is was so pretty and looks like something that you could make pretty easily with the right material and die cuts. Here is a closeup of the flower.

Fun in the Sun!

Fun in the Sun! That is the theme lately on a lot of the challenge blogs. I sure would like to be floating in the pool right now. But, the filter had some problems and the water is green. Thank goodness the pool service is working on it.

This little cutie sure is having fun in the sun. This digi image is one I got the other day from Stitchy Bear Stamps. It seems to fit the theme perfectly. She is colored with Copic Sketch markers (BG01, BG11, BG15, E01, E11, E31, E33, G14, Y00, Y02, and Y23). I used Stickles in Waterfall on the water. The CS is Brazzill and the DP is from My Mind's Eye - Stella Rose - Hattie. I used the Square and the Square Scalloped Spellbinder Nestabilities die cuts. The sentiment is from Stampin Up 's Sunny Fun stamp set and it is punched out with Stampin Up punches. The CS on the front has been run through the Fiskars Paper Crimper and the flower is from a set that I got at Hobby Lobby in the fabric department. I used a Basic Grey button on top with Caribbean twine from the The Twinery.
